  1. ARES/Data List Help File      LIST.HLP

  3.   The LIST command ("L") allows you to list specific records, or a
  4.   range of records in the database.  You need to know the record numbers
  5.   for the records you are interested in.
  6.  
  7. Syntax:
  8.       l nnn<cr>             List a single record, number nnn
  9.   or:
  10.       l nnn,mmm<cr>         Lists records numbered from nnn to mmm
  11.   or:
  12.       l all<cr>             Lists ALL records!
  13.  
  14.   The response will be a short header showing the labels for the
  15.   various fields, and then the complete information each record in
  16.   that range.

  18.   WARNING: use the "l all" command sparingly, because it may cause a
  19.            large number of packets to be sent on the channel.  You can
  20.            stop an undesired "l all" by simply disconnecting from the
  21.            ARES/Data machine.  This will cause no harm.  Then just
  22.            reconnect.
